Community Employment

At Opportunity Foundation, our Community Employment program helps individuals obtain and maintain meaningful, paid employment with local businesses throughout the community. Participants are hired directly by employers, earn competitive wages, and, when eligible, receive the same benefits available to other employees.​To support long-term success, each individual receives personalized job coaching tailored to their unique strengths, goals, and job responsibilities. Support levels vary based on need and may include hands-on training, assistance with job tasks, workplace communication support, and ongoing check-ins as individuals gain confidence and independence in their roles.​Our goal is to help individuals achieve lasting success in competitive employment while becoming valued and contributing members of their workplaces and communities.​Opportunity Foundation can provide workers for as few as 5 hours per week or up to 40 hours per week, depending on your business needs. Every worker is supported by a certified job coach who partners with both the employee and employer to help ensure expectations are met and employment goals are achieved.
