Supported Employment

Our Supported Employment Specialists assist individuals in discovering what jobs interest them and what their goals might be. Our Job Coaches get them ready for success with training specific to the position in which they will be working and providing on-the-job guidance when needed. We also offer our training facility and skills assessment tools to outside entities on a fee basis. We believe that everyone who wants community-based jobs should have that opportunity.

The Opportunity Foundation’s Supported Employment program is working to build a stronger Central Oregon by helping people with disabilities obtain and be successful in community jobs while assisting employers in meeting their unique needs. Job coaching is offered to employees and their employers to train the new employee to the job and provide ongoing support to ensure job retention.
